But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.
— Isaiah 64:8

Well HI! I'm so glad you've stopped by, no matter what brought you here. With all of the many things that I'm sure are on your mental to do list, I'm honored. I mean it!

My name is Mary Chayse Haithcock, but you can call me “Mary Chayse.” I am an artist living in Burlington, NC with my husband, Luke, and baby girl, Collins.

I’ve been painting since I can remember, but I really found my love for art when battling depression and anxiety in college. I fell in love with painting with thick paints and a palette knife while studying art at Clemson University, and I haven’t stopped since. It brings me a peace and joy that is unexplainable.

To me, art is how I worship my Creator and thank him for this beautiful life He has gifted me. Inspired by my life, my faith, and the everyday beauty of my surroundings, my paintings are an exploration of color, texture, and how I perceive the world around me.

It is my hope and prayer that what I create ultimately points back to my Creator.

I'm so glad you're here.
